Brand New Slow Cooker Recipe

But, it ain’t yo granny’s slow cooker. We don’t use cream of crap soups, soup mixes or anything artificial to create great tasting recipes.

Nope we use real food. Imagine that!

It’s going to be the one thing that turns your stress-case self into a kitchen bada*s in as little as 15 minutes a day!

Makes: 4 to 6 servings
Prep: 10 minutes
Cook: high heat—3 to 4 hours low heat—6 to 7 hours


3⁄4 cup chicken stock or water
1⁄2 cup honey
1⁄4 cup coconut aminos or low sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon coconut oil or evoo (extra-virgin olive oil)
1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 pinch of salt and pepper
1 small onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 to 11⁄2 pounds boneless chicken thighs/breasts
3 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted if you want
1⁄4 cup fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped


1. In a small bowl combine stock, honey, liquid aminos/soy sauce, oil, garlic powder, and a dash of salt and pepper. Set aside.

  1. Place onions and bell pepper into slow cooker, then place chicken on top. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Pour sauce over chicken and veggies. Cover and cook on low heat for 6 to 7 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours. Taste and add additional salt and pepper, if needed.
  3. When ready to serve, place in a bowl and top with sesame seeds and fresh parsley or cilantro. Enjoy!

Feel free to serve over rice, a big salad, a baked potato or a bowl of cauli rice. :)
